Les Allées: 15 years of everyday convenience, community and connection

/les/Allées/15 years celebration

Fifteen years ago, Les Allées was imagined with a simple yet powerful vision: to create a convenient, accessible place that would naturally fit into people’s everyday lives. A neighbourhood mall, one that would grow with its surroundings and remain deeply human at its core.

Located at the heart of the island, next to Synergy Sports & Wellness Institute and Lycée des Mascareignes, Les Allées quickly found its place as a natural meeting point. Its central location made it easy to stop by; before work, during lunch, after school or on the way home. From the very beginning, accessibility and proximity shaped the experience.

As Moka Smart City gradually took shape following its launch in 2017, Les Allées evolved alongside it. Today, the centre stands as a key operator within the Smart City ecosystem, fully anchored in its smart and sustainable spaces designed to live, work and play. It reflects the very essence of a connected and liveable city, where people can shop, meet, dine and connect without complexity.

Designed as a convenient neighbourhood mall, Les Allées responds to everyday needs. Whether it’s grocery shopping at Carrefour City (following its rebranding last year from Jumbo), a visit to the hair salon, enjoying a meal with colleagues or grabbing a quick bite, the centre has always focused on practical, quality-driven experiences. Over the years, the tenant mix has been carefully reviewed and refined to better serve its community, while remaining true to its original spirit.

Among the centre’s long-standing stories is Moka’z, a restaurant that has grown alongside Les Allées and is also celebrating its 15th anniversary in January 2026; a symbol of shared growth and partnership.

Spanning 2,742 square metres, with over 100 parking spaces, including dedicated spaces for persons with disabilities, Les Allées has consistently prioritised ease of access and comfort. But beyond numbers and infrastructure, what truly defines the centre is its role as a space of life; a place of encounters, conversations and shared moments.

This journey would not have been possible without the unwavering support of many. The teams who work behind the scenes, the tenants who bring energy and personality to the centre, the service providers who ensure its smooth operation, and above all, the customers who choose Les Allées every day.

After 15 years, Les Allées continues to evolve, staying true to its soul while adapting to the needs of a growing, dynamic community. A convenient mall, yes but above all, a place that feels familiar, accessible and alive.
