"My leaders are my mentors and role models"
Ezechiel began his journey as a Technician at Riche Terre Mall and, after seven months, transitioned to Bagatelle Mall as a Maintenance Technician. Since then, he has experienced Ascencia's workplace culture and leadership style, which has transformed his perspective on professional growth.
Reflecting on his journey, Ezechiel shares, "My leaders, Parama, Antish, and Hector, have been more than just managers; they are mentors and role models, guiding me to reveal my potential and build confidence in my abilities. Their leadership style is rare; they inspire me to see challenges as opportunities and empower me to take ownership of my role. It is not just about getting the job done—it is about stepping up, taking initiative, and making meaningful contributions."
This support and empowerment have allowed Ezechiel to evolve into a proactive team member. "Rather than waiting for instructions, I now look ahead and make decisions that will benefit the company, because I know my leaders trust me to do what’s right. That trust is fundamental in my journey here," he says.
Each day, Ezechiel approaches his work with dedication, ensuring everything functions perfectly, with the mindset that he is welcoming his own family to the mall and creating an enjoyable experience for all visitors.
"Coming to work with an 'eagle attitude'—embodying strength, sharp vision, and readiness to fly—has become essential for me," he explains. Ezechiel’s future goals are clear: he aims to grow within the company, continuing to learn and ultimately becoming a go-to problem solver across Ascencia’s portfolio.
