Asset Manager

Reporting to the CEO and a member of the Executive Team, the Asset Manager's main responsibilities will be expert asset management support by overseeing auditing, performance monitoring, and the development of operational standards for the portfolio of malls assigned to him/her.

Job Responsibilities
  • 1. Portfolio Management
  • Support Centre Managers in improving operations, maintenance, and overall mall performance.
  • Set and monitor KPIs, allocate resources, and resolve operational issues.
  • Oversee leasing, tenant management, and ensure standardised procedures across assets.
  • Identify value creation, cost-saving, and income-generating opportunities.
  • Conduct audits, benchmark practices, and ensure compliance.
  • Drive the strategy of the malls.
  • Ensure the assets maintain or increase their value.
  • Analyse performance, financials, and market trends; prepare reports and manage capital projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise asset performance and ensure excellent tenant service.
  • 2. Third-Party Relationship Management
  • Evaluate tenant performance and site compliance.
  • Maintain high occupancy and rental income.
  • Review financials and manage contractor payments.
  • Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Help strategise tenant planning to avoid rental voids.
  • 3. People Management
  • Promote a positive, performance-driven culture aligned with company values.
  • Support growth initiatives and enhance property value.
  • Lead performance management, coaching, and development of team members.
  • Oversee recruitment, appraisals, training, and career planning for staff.
Job Qualitifications
  • Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Master’s degree with specialisation in Business, Finance and/or Real Estate Management /Property/Law or any other related field
  • In-depth understanding of property management, operations and leasing
  • 5 years of proven experience in asset management for a commercial real estate company
  • Experience within a property portfolio management
  • Experience of working on cases involving insolvency/liquidation/receivership
